Weekend Getaway Travel Essentials

I recently teamed up with HomeAway to create a list of my top five essentials that I need for a trip to the beach for my blog. If I could go somewhere with my friends or family right now I would definitely go to County Galway. Dog's bay beach in Co. Galway is probably one of the most beautiful beaches in Ireland. I love sunglasses and hats so much. Fashion is very important to me, even though you're just going to the beach to relax I still think it's important to have some accessories. I seriously cannot live without music, so to be able to relax I will need to listen to music. Flip flops, maybe cute flip flops, I think everyone knows that it is very important to bring a pair to the beach. A big beach towel where you can sit while listening to music or reading a fashion magazine. Sunscreen is very important if you're going to be out in the sun all day!

ALEX AND ANI

I did not know anything about the brand Alex And Ani until last year. But when I saw the jewelries they sell I instantly fell in love with them. This is my very first Alex and Ani jewelry.

My family and I went to a family event last month. I saw my mom's friend's Alex and Ani's bracelet and I loved it so much. I asked my mom to buy me a bracelet from Alex and Ani that night but we never really talked about it after. When my birthday came my family's friends came over for dinner. My mom's friend gave me an Alex and Ani bag, and I was so surprised and happy that I wanted to open the gift in front of everyone. After my birthday dinner celebration, I opened the box and I saw the beautiful Emerald birthstone charm bangle. I fell in love with it immediately. I love Emerald, not just because it is my birthstone. I used to watch the movie Wizard of Oz as much as I could, and I love the play Wicked. When I think of Wizard of Oz and Wicked, it reminds me of Emerald (Probably because of the Emerald City).

I am very glad that this is the very first thing I own from Alex and Ani.

Summer Adventure 2016 - No.1

Surprisingly, the weather here in Ireland has been very good for a while now. I am now on my summer vacation, but my brother is still in school and my parents are still working. Last week, my parents and I decided that we should just go to Brittas Bay in County Wicklow because my dad had an optician appointment at the same day. But when the day came and after my dad's appointment we all decided that we want to go somewhere far. We went to County Wexford to go to Rosslare Strand. The beach was so beautiful, and the weather was good, it wasn't really hot and it wasn't too cold. We spent two hours in Rosslare Strand swimming, chatting and eating. 

We then went to see the enthralling Johnstown Castle. We arrived to our next destination at 5 pm, and the whole place will close at 5:30 pm but that did not stop us from going inside. My mom and I are obsessed with flowers so much we wanted to see the garden but, unfortunately, it was already close. After walking around the place, we went to the lovely Peacock Cafe to get an ice cream. While we were on our way to the cafe, I was wondering why it was called the 'Peacock Cafe'. When we reached the cafe, the first thing I saw were the peacocks. You can feed the peacocks, and you can buy their food inside the shop. 

Our day trip to County Wexford was amazing, and it was a good way to start our Summer 2016 Adventure. I honestly cannot wait for our next family road trip.

My 17th Birthday

Hey guys it's June!!

I just graduated from Transition Year yesterday, and today is my first day of summer. I can't believe I will be starting the leaving cert course next school year. Anyway, I am now seventeen! I had two birthday celebrations. First celebration was on 28th May, I had a small party with my close friends where we sang and danced to our favourite songs. On 29th May (Real Birthday), I celebrated the day with my family and relatives.

Instead of ordering a birthday cake, like we always do for any events, my mom decided to make my birthday cake. My mom also baked the cupcakes and brownies. We ordered six boxes of pizza, because.......... IDK? everyone loves pizza!
