The City of Love - Paris No.1 | Travel Diary

Bonjour Loves!

Paris, the city of love, is a beautiful place. This was my second time in Paris, but it did not stop me to go and see the Eiffel Tower. Just looking at the tower itself was very relaxing. I love walking around Paris, and all the carousels around Paris are magnificent. We did not have a car with us during the trip, so the only transportation available were the RER and metro, taxis were unavailable too, there was a taxi strike.

If you have read my last article, you would know that the hotel I stayed in was not in the city. So I would always need to take the RER to go to Paris, Val d'Europe to Charles de Gaulle. If you are going to exit the CDG station, it is situated in front of the beautiful Arc de Triomphe.

J'adore walking around Champs Elysees. The best Abercrombie & Fitch shop is located in the Champs-Elysees, unfortunately I did not get a chance to take a picture of it. Just the entrance of the shop is so beautiful. The biggest Louis Vuitton store is also situated in the Champs-Elysees.

A trip to France would not be complete without buying and going to Laduree, I know that Paris is not the only city who has Laduree, there's one here in Dublin too, but Laduree in Paris has always been different for me. Laduree is one of the best known makers of macarons in the world.

The Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Paris was beautiful even though walking up to the basilica was very tiring. When you reach the top you will be able to see the breathtaking city of love, you will say to yourself, it was worth it.

I can't wait to go back to Paris.

Love,
