London #1 | Travel Diary

LIVE. LOVE. LONDON.

Hey wonderful people!

I have always wanted to go to London since I was a little kid, and my uncle made that dream come true. I went to London with my uncle and my cousin. Like Scotland, we drove almost five hours to arrive to our destination. We left North Wales before lunch, we brought so much food with us so we only stopped for coffee and to use the toilet. My cousin and I wanted Starbucks but the first service that we stopped by only had Costa.

We arrived in London early evening. When we got to the apartment, my cousin and his friend took me to see the Olympic Stadium. The stadium is situated in Stratford, London. The place was so peaceful and relaxing, if I live near the place I would probably go there as much as I could just to walk around the place. I was supposed to stay in the UK only for a week, but I decided to extend my trip for one more week. My uncle and his family got invited to attend an eighteenth birthday party, and they wanted me to go with them. I did not bring any formal clothes so after walking around outside the Olympic Stadium, we went to a shopping centre before going back to the apartment. I tried looking for a dress, but all the dresses I liked were all too big for me. I forgot to take pictures during my first night in London because I was so tired.

We wanted to do as much as we could on our second day. The very first thing we did was travel to the famous Buckingham Palace. It was amazing to see how many people were there waiting for the guards to change, it was a really good experience to see the changing of the guards even though it was so hot. After Buckingham Palace we took the underground train to go to M&M's World. Oh My God! The only word that comes to my head when I think of the place is heaven. There were so many people inside the shop, and the smell was AMAZING.

There will be three articles about my London trip, and this is the very first one.

À bientôt,
